Popularity does not establish that an ingredient is necessary, gentle or effective in every formula. Use this list to identify roles, not to build a seven-active routine.
Use one question per ingredient
- What is the exact INCI name?
- What role does it have in this formula?
- Is it leave-on or rinse-off?
- Which directions and warnings apply?
Avoid ingredient stacking
Niacinamide, centella, ceramides and humectants can appear in supportive formulas. Exfoliating acids and retinoids require separate tolerance and direction checks.
See the broader Korean skincare ingredient guide for formula context.
